Trolling is, by definition, the practice of posting for the sole purpose to instigate a fight with or to harass another user (or group of users). Trolling is extremely disruptive and will not be tolerated. If you are caught trolling we WILL take action! You have been warned.

NO DRAMA!
If another user is being a pain in the ass, we will make an exception, but keep it in the basement!

NO FLAMING!
Although Ante Entertainment does not prohibit the use of "foul" language, we do ask that you try and keep it at a PG13 level. The only exception being in the basement, where anything goes.

THE BASEMENT!
While we are on the subject, I would like to go over basement conduct. While the rest of the forum is heavily armed and ready to bite your head off for idiotic bullshit, the basement is a bit of a safehaven. We will overlook most violations in the basement threads, but not everything. Your momma gave you a filter, so use it, for God's sake.

NO SPAMMING!!!
This SHOULD go without saying. Spam includes, but is not limited to: responses that are completely unrelated to the subject at hand, pointless threads, degenerating a thread into childish bickering and solicitation to buy something or go to a specific website. That goes for all of you bots out there too, even though we are fully aware that you can't read this. Your post will be deleted should it be considered spam, and depending on the intent we may feel the need to take further action!

POST YOUR THREADS IN THE APPROPRIATE FORUM!
That is, read the forum description before you decide to start a thread. There's no problem if you do it on accident, but overdoing it will get you a warning or, in extreme cases, a suspension.

KEEP THE l33tspeak TO A MINIMUM!
It's frustrating to try to figure out what you're saying cuz u dcid 2 typ lyk dis. Posts in l33tsp34k will be edited or even deleted, depending on how hard they are to decipher.

NO POPULARITY CONTESTS!
Keep that bullshit in high school, where it actually matters. This includes any thread that asks users to pick one poster over the rest or even over another user, ranging from polls to questions in the game threads.

NO NECROMANCY!
That is, don't reply to a thread that has been long-dead unless it's really necessary. Pinned threads are exempt from this. Bumping threads is not allowed. I will overlook it if the thread is interesting enough (i.e. not a bunch of "OMG SB U SUK LOL" spam bullshit) or if what you said is at least remotely relevant to the thread, though.

DO NOT ACT LIKE YOU ARE 5!
This really should go without saying, but recent events have driven me to posting this. Do not act like you are 5 years old! We all are supposedly way past that age, so start acting it.

Also, Ante Entertainment reserves the right to edit your posts without any justification, whether it is just because your signature is way too obnoxious or because I have met jailbirds with more sensitivity than you. If you feel that we have made a mistake, please don't post a new thread saying "WTF?!? Why'd you edit my post?!?" Just calmly private message an admin asking them what's up.
